A Salina woman reported damage to her vehicle after an unknown man reportedly struck it several times with a large stick.
Captain Forrester says that the damage to property incident occurred on Tuesday, May 2, at 12:30 pm. Officers were called to the 100 block of N College, where a 60-year-old female victim advised that she had been driving southbound on College. An unknown male on a bike reportedly struck the windshield of her 2014 Chrysler 300 with a large stick. The windshield was hit hard enough to break it.
The victim pulled over and the male allegedly began striking the vehicle with the stick, described as 5 foot long, appearing to be a branch from a tree. The male is described with long, braided brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt, and riding a medium size bike.
Damage to the victim's vehicle is $4,500.
