A Salina woman is arrested in connection to the theft of a tow truck.

Captain Forrester says that the alleged theft occurred on Tuesday, May 23 at 8:10 pm, in the 1100 block of N 10th. An employee of A&A Towing & Recovery had reportedly parked the tow truck in the alley, and had gone inside real quick. The keys were left in the vehicle.

Meanwhile, potential suspect Delilah Ross, a 35-year-old woman, was allegedly walking down the alley and saw the tow truck with keys in it. She then allegedly drove off with the vehicle. Officers allegedly located Ms Ross at 5th and Euclid. She was arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Felony Theft
  • Suspended License

The wrecker is a 2012 Freightliner M2, valued at $65,000.
