Teens Arrested in Connection with Damage to Property in Central Salina

On Monday, July 10 at 7:20 am, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N Phillips in response to a concerned neighbor's report of someone breaking windows at a nearby residence. Upon arrival, the officers found several windows, siding, downspouts, fence pickets, and a portion of a metal fence had been damaged, with an estimated total value exceeding $2,000.

Officers allegedly located four juveniles nearby, who were identified as the possible culprits. All four teens are residents of Salina, comprising two males aged 13 and 14, as well as two females aged 14 and 15. Following their arrest, the juveniles were transported to the Junction City Juvenile Detention Center.

The resident of the house was not present at the time of the incident. It is believed that the teens are acquainted with the resident.
