A vehicle reported stolen from central Salina was later found in south Salina.
On Sunday, September 17 at 10:09 pm, officers were sent to Casey's, 215 W Crawford, for the report of a stolen vehicle. A Casey's employee said that their white 2001 F250 truck was stolen as he was working. The keys had been left in the vehicle. Total loss was $2,000.
As SPD was taking the report on scene, a Saline County Sheriff's Deputy located the vehicle near the intersection of Ohio and Nottingham, unoccupied.
