19-year-old Isaiah Grajales faces requested charges after reporting drive-by shooting
On November 22 at 4:40 pm, authorities responded to a gunshot wound report at Salina Regional Hospital. Isaiah Grajales, aged 19, initially claimed to be a victim of a drive-by shooting in the 700 block of Fairdale, with the bullet striking his right thigh.
Upon further investigation and questioning, Grajales reportedly confessed that he had shot himself with a firearm. Consequently, he was taken into custody, facing a list of requested charges including Felony Interference, Possession of Firearm while Under the Influence, Minor in Consumption of Alcohol, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
