Salina Woman Arrested After Scuffle with Neighbors & Officers

At 1 pm on Saturday, August 26, officers were sent to the 1900 block of Haskett, in southwest Salina. A victim reported that a neighbor, identified as 28-year-old Tyler Bastin, had walked up to their house, acting odd. The victim went into their house, and the Bastin allegedly followed without permission. Once inside, Bastin reportedly started throwing things around. The victim asked her to leave, and Bastin allegedly took a case of Smirnoff Ice before leaving the house.

Officers made contact with Bastin a few houses away. They attempted to secure her, but Bastin reportedly tried to get away, resisting arrest. She was eventually arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Aggravated Burglary
  • Interference with Law Enforcement Officer
  • Battery on Law Enforcement Officer
