Salina Presbyterian Manor has announced the retirement of Cathy Boos, the esteemed Sales and Marketing Director, who served the residents with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm. Boos, who assumed her role in November 2020, had already established ties with the community, having previously served as the Life Enrichment Director. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the successful marketing and sales of Salina Presbyterian Manor's new Villasβa $15M expansion project that commenced in the fall of 2023, with the first residents moving in earlier this fall.
Melissa Brumbaugh, Executive Director, expressed gratitude for Boos' contributions, stating, "Cathy played a critical role in the success of Salina Presbyterian Manor over the last few years. Her energy and passion will be greatly missed around our community."
Reflecting on her time at Salina Presbyterian Manor, Boos shared, "I will always cherish my time at Salina Presbyterian Manor. I've loved getting to know the residents and families, who I can now call my friends. I'll miss everyone at the manor, but I'll be back to visit." Boos officially concluded her tenure on November 30.
The mantle of Director of Sales and Marketing has been passed to Amanda Randolph, the newly appointed successor. Randolph brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as the Director of Community Services and Marketing for Accessible Home Care, along with a background in real estate. Expressing her enthusiasm, Randolph stated, "It's very fulfilling to help people find their dream home and make their wishes come true. I'm excited to use my experience and passion to assist people across the Salina community in finding their next home at Salina Presbyterian Manor."
Randolph worked closely with Boos for a few weeks in preparation for assuming her role in December. Salina Presbyterian Manor has been serving Saline County since 1980, offering independent and assisted living, long-term care, memory care, and short-term rehabilitation.
