Salina Man's Vehicle Missing After Early Morning Confrontation

A 28-year-old Salina man reported to SPD that his vehicle and other belongings were missing after a confrontation in central Salina. The report was made at 8:30 pm on Monday, August 28.

The victim reported that on August 27 at 2 am, he was walking in the area of Franklin and Sheridan. He came across two male subjects that he knows, as well as several others who confronted him. These individuals struck him and stole the following from the victim:

  • backpack, $15
  • iPhone, $1,000
  • key to victim's vehicle, $15

The subjects then left the area. Later, on August 28 at 4 am, the victim noticed his vehicle was missing after being parked in the 1000 block of Dover. The vehicle is a silver 2007 Audi Q7 worth $4,000.
