A Salina man was arrested over the weekend after a teenager reported sexual statements were made.
On Saturday, September 16 at 9:32 pm, officers were dispatched to Tuscon's, 2750 S 9th. A 14-year-old female victim had reported that a subject, identified as 29-year-old Michael Whitford, had allegedly made propositions and statements to her regarding sexual advances and sexual acts that he wished to have her perform on him.
After an investigation, Whitford was arrested on the requested charge of indecent solicitation of a child. Both victim and subject were reportedly employed at Tuscon's.
