This year's Salina Invitational Cross Country Meet took on a new look as the event was moved to Southeast of Saline High School due to the ongoing log jam at Bill Burke Park. Despite the change in venue, competition remained strong with several area schools taking part including Salina Central, Salina South, and Southeast of Saline. The Salina Central Girls Varsity team captured first place. Kaylie Shultz from Salina Central placed first in the girl's Varsity Race, finishing with a time of 17:27.82. On the boys' side, Southeast of Saline defended their home turf, earning first place in the Varsity division. Brayden Walker from Southeast of Saline finished with a time of 15:48.01, earning him a first place finish.
