On the evening of Monday, October 30th, at approximately 5:56 pm, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Parkwood. Upon arrival, they made contact with 19-year-old Wayne Jackson and his 18-year-old significant other, a female victim.
Officers learned that Jackson had allegedly forcefully taken the victim's phone from her hand, punched a hole in a wall, and pulled her by the hair. It was also reported that Jackson had previously strangled the victim several weeks ago.
Jackson was taken into custody and is now facing multiple requested charges, including Robbery, Aggravated Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery, Damage to Property, and Criminal Restraint.
