A Salina business is out $2,400 after a phone theft.

Captain Forrester says that the theft occurred at Target, 2939 Market Place. On May 4 at 7:30 pm, Target reported they had a female subject enter the store and return two Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra cell phones, valued at $2,400. The clerk made the transaction, as the packaging looked to be intact and not altered.

After making the return and the female left, it was determined that the two phones were display models. The total loss is $2,400. This case is thought to be one of several at Target stores in the region with the same female subject.
