Parents Arrested in Connection to Child's Possible Drug Exposure

On Wednesday, October 4 at 6:14 pm, officers were sent to the 300 block of N Penn for an unresponsive 10-month-old child. On the arrival of EMS and SPD, the child was reportedly alive and breathing, but unresponsive. EMS transported the child to SRHC.

It was suspected that the child may have allegedly come into contact with possible drugs. Detectives obtained a search warrant, and allegedly located drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The child's parents, identified as 28-year-old Phoenix Leonard and 22-year-old Sadie Marvin, were each arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Aggravated Child Endangerment
  • Possession Controlled Substance
  • Possession Drug Paraphernalia

The child was released into police protective custody.
