Officer Seizes 36.4 Pounds of THC Oil in Interstate Traffic Stop

Indiana Man Arrested for Marijuana Distribution and Drug Paraphernalia Possession

In the early hours of Friday, July 7th, at approximately 1:39 am, a traffic stop on I-135 at mile marker 95 led to a suspected drug seizure. An officer pulled over a southbound vehicle for alleged traffic violations, including an unsafe lane change and following too closely.

During the traffic stop, the officer allegedly detected a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly yielded a staggering 36.4 pounds of possible THC oil.

The vehicle's passenger, identified as Lance Fane, a 21-year-old resident of Indiana, was arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Distribution of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
