Minneapolis Man Arrested After Allegedly Trespassing through Building

A Minneapolis man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly trespassing through a building in north Salina.

Captain Forrester says that on April 2nd at 6:15 pm, officers were sent to 1007 W North St for an alarm. The victim is a 54-year-old Salina man. Officers were advised that the south storage building unit had multiple alarms being detected. As officers checked the building, through a window they allegedly observed a white male wearing a blue hooded jacket, a hat, and a black back pack inside the building. The male is said to have been running westbound through the building.

As officers came around the building, they allegedly saw the subject standing in a tree line west of the building. A foot pursuit ensued. Officers caught up to 24-year-old David Boeschling and took him into custody. While arresting him, officers allegedly located suspected methamphetamine in the back pack. Requested charges for Boeschling include:

  • Trespassing
  • Interference with Law Enforcement
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
