On Saturday, October 21, at 10:19 am, officers were called to the 1000 block of E Republic for a damage to property report. The victim reported that her 2015 Dodge Durango, parked in the driveway, had damage to the passenger door and front fender. It appeared that someone had thrown a chainsaw and yard decor at the vehicle. Neighborhood video was also reviewed.
Later, on Sunday, October 22, officers were sent to the 700 block of Vassar for a disorderly subject. 34-year-old Preston Reyna was identified as the possible disorderly subject, and also as the alleged subject from the earlier video on E Republic. Officers attempted to arrest him, and Reyna reportedly resisted. He was eventually arrested on the requested charges of Felony Damage to Property and Felony Interference with Law Enforcement.
