Construction update as of Nov 1, 2023 for Lee Mercantile Lofts (Phase 2)
- Exterior Brick tuck pointing work starting to ramp up (continuing to rake out masonry joins in prep of tuck pointing)
- Structural replacement where bad supports found
- Utility connections and service being brought into the building
- Framing work on interior stairs continues
- Floor decking in failed areas continues
- Roofing contractor has completed and insulated entire roof and finished wrapping with membrane, only fastened temporarily to parapet to maintain dry in before masonry contractor works on area then roof will be finished and tied into parapet.
- Hallways laid out to be saw cut on upper floors
- Demolition contractor has begun both elevator demolitions so brand new elevators and elevator equipment can be installed
