SPD is investigating the theft of a riding lawn mower from north central Salina.
Captain Forrester says that the lawn mower was reported as stolen sometime between May 21 and 24, from the 600 block of E Iron. The 48-year-old male victim was staying with his mother, and had his lawn mower parked in the driveway. The mower was a green Craftsman riding mower, valued at $3,000.
