In the early hours of Saturday, December 2, at 3:16 am, officers responded to a potential hit and run incident in the vicinity of Seitz and Georgetown. A 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, parked on the west side of the street facing southbound, appeared to have been struck by a passing vehicle.

Officers conducted a search of the area and identified a potential suspect vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Camry, parked further down the road near Melrose and Seitz. They followed a fluid trail to locate the vehicle concealed in a tree line. Subsequently, officers contacted the registered owner at their address and discovered that the alleged driver, 21-year-old Kaiden Carter, had been transported to the hospital by a family member for injuries sustained in the reported accident.

Upon reaching Carter at SRHC, officers found him allegedly intoxicated. Consequently, Carter was arrested on requested charges of DUI and Duty of Driver to Report an Accident.
