Final Results: 63% of Saline County Voters Cast Ballots in November Election

Saline County officials have completed the canvassing process for the November 5th general election, with final results showing a 62.83% voter turnout.

The announcement was made during the November 19th County Commission meeting by a county representative.

The canvassing process, which took place on November 18th, resulted in the approval of 351 provisional ballots to be fully counted and 33 to be partially counted. These additional votes have now been incorporated into the final election results.

The county representative noted that the 62.83% turnout aligns with typical voter participation rates for the area. They also emphasized the collaborative effort required to conduct the election, highlighting the involvement of approximately 150 election workers who worked 14-hour days at polling locations.

The official expressed gratitude to the election workers, county staff, and other county offices that provided assistance during a period when the election office was short-staffed.

The finalized election results are expected to be published on the county website, following the commissioners' signing of the official results document.

The county representative concluded by thanking everyone involved in the election process for their hard work and dedication in ensuring a successful election.
