The Saturday morning Run had perfect weather with cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-70s. A few sprinkles came down right before the race began but cleared off in time for the kickoff!
Fe for a Cure had a record number with 834 participants registered for the ninth annual Race. All proceeds went to support Cancer patients at the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
Dr. Carlos Guzman placed first in the 5k with a time of 17:01.
Daniel Craig placed second in the 5k with a time of 17:28.
Collin Reinert placed third in the 5k with a time of 19:36.
Tabetha Deines was the first lady to complete the 5k with a time of 20:18 and placed 6th overall.
In the one-mile fun run/walk, Kolton Kitchener placed first with a time of 7:36.
Tyler Murphy placed second with a time of 8:40.
Fernando Galdamez placed third with a time of 8:59.
