Downtown Business Window Broken

In a Sunday evening incident at 5:25 pm on December 10, officers responded to a shattered window report at the Downtown Starbucks located at 257 S Santa Fe. Upon arrival, officers encountered Abraham Tinsley, a 40-year-old homeless individual, in connection with the incident. A substantial window measuring 6 ft 11 in by 5 ft 11 in was found completely broken. Tinsley allegedly pointed to a nearby rock, confessing that he intentionally broke the window with the aim of being incarcerated. Consequently, Tinsley was taken into custody on the requested charge of aggravated battery. The damaged window was estimated to be valued at $7,200.
