On September 2 at 5:27 am, officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Marc for a possible domestic disturbance. On arrival, they spoke with the victim and a witness, with the victim saying that her ex-boyfriend came over to her house without permission. He was identified as 32-year-old Daniel Alberto Chavez.

The victim had ran out the door, fell, and dropped her purse. Chavez allegedly kicked her and stole her purse. The female then got into the car with the witness to call for help, when Chavez reportedly got in his vehicle and rammed the other vehicle 4-5 times before leaving the area.

Officers located Chavez at 9:23 am that same day, and arrested him on the following requested charges:

  • Aggrevated Battery
  • Theft
  • Domestic Battery
  • Criminal Trespass
