Police investigate as cash is stolen from four gaming machines
In the early hours of November 23 at 3:22 am, law enforcement responded to a reported business burglary at Express Mart located at 1118 N 9th. The alarm was raised by someone who noticed the front door of the establishment had been smashed.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the shattered glass door. The perpetrator had targeted four gaming machines, breaching them by cutting the locks. Cash was pilfered from the compromised machines.
Video surveillance captured a potential suspect donned in a gray hoodie, black pants, black gloves, and a dark-colored face covering. The estimated damage to the door is assessed at $2,000.
