On May 19th, between 5:24 pm and 5:28 pm, Sandra Sekala, a 38-year-old woman from Salina, allegedly entered a room at the Budget King Motel, 809 N Broadway, and took various items including clothing and a vape pen, valued at $179. The 57-year-old male victim, who claims he did not know the suspect, reported the incident. Officers located Sekala at a nearby bus stop shortly after the burglary and recovered the stolen items. She was taken into custody, with charges of aggravated burglary requested.
