Weekend Vehicle Fire on Interstate 135

On September 2 at 11:35, Deputies were sent to Interstate 135 at mile marker 95, for a vehicle on fire. A 23-year-old Salina man was driving a gray 1993 GMC Sierra, when he started to smell hot transmission fluid. The driver pulled the vehicle over when it started to smoke, and the vehicle was in flames when Rural Fire District arrived.
