Deputies Work Multiple Weather Related Accidents Over the Weekend

On Saturday morning at 10:05 am, Deputies responded to a crash on Interstate 135, near mile post 79. A 46-year-old woman from Texas lost control of her 2013 Chevy Suburban in snowy conditions, colliding with a roadside sign at the rear passenger door. A 30-year-old male sustained a potential hand injury but declined medical treatment.


On the afternoon of Saturday, November 25, at 12:47 pm, deputies responded to an accident at mile post 260 on I-70. A 2019 white BMW, driven by a 50-year-old woman heading eastbound, veered out of control and spun out, colliding with a guardrail and median near the Niles Rd overpass. Despite potential injuries, the driver declined medical treatment.


On Saturday, November 25, at 1:08 pm, a 37-year-old man lost control of his 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan, causing it to spin out and collide with a bridge pillar. A 36-year-old female passenger was subsequently transported to SRHC for a head laceration.
