The Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident on Saturday, November 25 in Saline County.
The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred at 9:30 am, on Northbound I-135 milepost 88, just North of Water Well Exit. A 1999 Jeep, driven by a 36-year-old Newkirk, Oklahoma man, and a 2018 Lexus, driven by a 53-year-old Wichita man, were both Northbound. The Jeep lost control, spun and was struck by Lexus that was behind the Jeep.
Both the driver of the Jeep and a 36-year-old female passenger from Newkirk, Oklahoma had no apparent injuries. The driver of the Lexus was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle for possible injuries. All occupants were reported to have been wearing seat belts.
