A law-enforcement operation took place Wednesday afternoon at a residence located in the 100 block of E. Bond in Salina.
According to Salina police, officers assisted an outside agency in serving a search warrant at the location. SPD confirmed they were not the investigating agency and were only on scene to secure the area. No additional details about the investigation have been released.
The agency leading the case is the Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, based out of Wichita. Officials indicated that any further information would come from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Topeka.
No injuries were reported, and no local charges have been announced at this time.
