On Monday, August 12, 2024, at approximately 4:00 pm, a vehicle theft was reported in the 600 block of South Second Street. The victim, a 48-year-old female resident of Salina, discovered that her 1998 black Subaru Forester, valued at $500, had been stolen from the street in front of her home. In addition to the vehicle, her $900 phone was also taken, bringing the total loss to $1,400.
The vehicle's license plate number is Kansas D669216. There are currently no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
