Vehicle Stolen from Kwik Shop Recovered, Two Suspects Arrested
At 9:00 am on June 27, police responded to a vehicle theft at Kwik Shop at 1727 West Crawford Street. A red 2002 Chrysler Town and Country, belonging to a 41-year-old male, was stolen after he left it running while he went into the store.
Shortly after, an officer located the vehicle at Budget King Motel, 809 North Broadway Boulevard, and observed several individuals loading items into it. The officer confirmed it was the stolen vehicle and stopped it in the 700 block of North Broadway Boulevard. The suspects, Robert Kimzey (30) and Crystal Hill (37), both from Wellington, were apprehended. Charges of felony theft have been requested.
