UPDATE: Over the last week, officers were able to retrieve video from various locations in Downtown Salina regarding this incident, showing the alleged suspect vehicle, and two suspects believed to be stealing the BMW.
On Saturday, August 12, at 3:30 am, an officer on an unrelated call at the Airliner Motel recognized two suspects believed to be those from the video of the vehicle theft, as well as the possible suspect vehicle in the video.
Officers made contact with the two, and they were each arrested and have requested charges of vehicle theft. They were identified as 37-year-old Kagney Deiser, from St Joseph, Missouri, and 32-year-old Damian Powell from Ellsworth, Kansas.
The BMW was recovered at Kanopolis Lake. An Ellsworth County Deputy assisted in locating the vehicle.

ORIGINAL: A vehicle was reported stolen from Downtown Salina on Sunday, August 6 at 9:40 pm.
The 25-year-old victim reported that she was at Big Nose Kate's, 121 N Santa Fe, beginning at 9:15 pm. She lost her keys while in there, and got a ride home from a friend. At this point, the vehicle was still there. The victim returned at 9:40 pm, and the vehicle was gone.
Missing is a 2007 gold BMW, KS tag 362 RML.
