A maroon 2014 Kia Sorento, valued at $8,000, was recovered after being reported stolen from Casey's at 725 W Schilling on Monday, July 17. The alleged incident occurred while an employee was at work between 5:15 pm and 10:28 pm, when she finished her shift and noticed her vehicle missing. The victim realized her keys were also absent, believed to have been left inside the store at the beginning of her shift.

At approximately 1:23 am on July 18, a deputy allegedly located the vehicle at the intersection of Interstate 135 and Smolan Rd, occupied by a 41-year-old individual identified as Ravin Nail from Salina. Nail was arrested on the requested charge of vehicle theft after allegedly being found sleeping inside the vehicle on the side of the road.
