UPDATE: Owner of Vehicle Located
UPDATE: The owner of the vehicle has been located. The vehicle caught fire as a result of overheating as the driver was trying to get it out of the mud.
On Tuesday, February 6 at 6 am, Deputies were notified of a possible fire on the west side of Interstate 135, somewhere around North St. Due to muddy roads and foggy conditions, the Deputy arrived in the area at 6:15 am and located the fire in the 2600 block of W N St, one mile west of Tressin Rd. A vehicle was fully engulfed, burned so bad the color couldn't be identified. It's believed the vehicle is a 4-door Jeep SUV. The scene is still being investigated. Rural Fire District 7 responded to extinguish the blaze.
