Between May 22 at 5:00 pm and May 23 at 10:30 am, a 1994 Kenworth truck parked in a field in the 11900 block of South Lamer Road was vandalized. Saline County Sheriff's deputies reported that someone broke four windows of the truck using rocks, causing $5,000 in damage. The truck is owned by 65-year-old Chris Short of Assaria. There are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.
