Damage to Property at Tree Removal Site Behind YMCA

Between Thursday, July 6 at 4:30 pm and Sunday, July 9 at 11 am, a company involved with tree removal behind the YMCA, located at 570 YMCA Dr, experienced an incident of apparent damage to property. Excel Dirt & Excavating reported that vehicles owned by the company suffered significant damage during this period, as well as the work site itself being damaged.

According to Excel Dirt & Excavating, their equipment sustained various forms of harm. A skidloader had its windshield removed and was driven around the work site. Additionally, damage to the battery compartment was observed, and the gas cap was found lying next to the vehicle. The driving of the skid loader resulted in the destruction of several zoning stakes in the vicinity.

Moreover, a loader/backhoe combination vehicle belonging to the company was also subjected to unauthorized use. As a result, the damage to the vehicles and work site resulted in $2,000 loss.
