Construction Site Burglary on Virginia Drive Results in $4,500 Loss
On August 22, 2024, police were dispatched to a construction site at 2460 Virginia Drive in Salina, where a burglary was reported. The incident occurred at an apartment complex construction area managed by T&R Construction.
The suspects gained access by cutting the gate to a fence and the locks on a 16-foot work trailer. They stole several valuable tools, including two steel concrete saws, a six-port battery charger, three Milwaukee saws, an impact driver, and a Dremel tool with attachments. The stolen items should have company engravings.
The total estimated loss is approximately $4,500. Investigators have leads on a possible vehicle involved, described as a GM model extended cab. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify and apprehend the suspects.
