Rolling Domestic Incident Leads to Charges of Aggravated Battery
Troy Zelfer, Saline County Booking

On the evening of July 28th, police were dispatched to the intersection of Ohio and Magnolia for a rolling domestic disturbance. A 46-year-old Salina woman reported the incident from the parking lot of Scooters. According to the victim, she had been at the 2300 block of Aurora Avenue with Troy Zelfer, a 34-year-old Salina resident with whom she is involved.

The altercation escalated when Zelfer attempted to leave in a vehicle. The woman, partially inside the vehicle at the front passenger door, was dragged as Zelfer drove away, resulting in injuries and abrasions to her right leg and left arm. Zelfer eventually drove to Scooters, where he exited the vehicle, leaving both the car and the injured victim behind. He then walked to a nearby Kwik Shop.

Authorities are requesting charges against Zelfer for aggravated battery, driving while suspended, and addressing two outstanding warrants.
