Stolen Vehicle from Salina Ends in Arrest in Sumner County

On July 1, Salina police were dispatched to OCCK at 340 North Santa Fe Avenue following the report of a stolen vehicle. Employees noticed a 1998 Chevy work truck missing from an open detached garage on the property. The truck, returned around noon with keys left on the floorboard, was later found missing. License Plate Reader (LPR) technology tracked the vehicle near Wichita.

After 6:00pm, the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) located the stolen truck and initiated a pursuit, which ended in a crash at US 81 Highway and Seneca. Malikhi Holman-Bledsoe, 18, from Oklahoma City, was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
