On June 12 at 11:00 am, police were dispatched to the Budget King Motel at 809 North Broadway Boulevard for a reported burglary. The victim, a 41-year-old male employee and resident of the motel, had left his residence between 10:00 and 10:30 am.
During his absence, unknown subject(s) attempted to steal a 75-inch TV, which was found abandoned in the doorway. A DVR system and a money bag containing $3,000 cash were successfully stolen, resulting in a total loss of $3,800. The method of entry is unclear, and there are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
