On June 8th at 11:50 pm, Saline County deputies responded to a report of a red 2012 Ford pickup truck parked on the side of the road on the 6500 block of E Old 40 Highway.
A shirtless man was seen walking away from the vehicle. Deputies discovered the truck, valued at $1,500, had been stolen from Shawnee County. They located 44-year-old Tyson Marfise in the area and found the keys to the stolen truck in his pocket. Marfise was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with vehicle theft.
