SALINA, KS — A severe thunderstorm with high winds swept through Salina, Kansas, last night, bringing significant damage and power outages. According to reports from the National Weather Service, wind gusts reached up to 78 mph at the Salina Regional Airport at around 8:39 PM. This powerful storm also included heavy rainfall and large hail, leading to widespread disruption.
The storm caused numerous trees to fall. Emergency services were busy throughout the night addressing the damage and ensuring public safety. Crews are working diligently to restore power and clear the debris from the roads.
