On June 6, Salina police officers responded to a vehicle theft report at 2091 Hageman, Apartment 2. The 30-year-old female victim reported that a known suspect had entered her apartment between 1:00-3:00 am and took the keys to her red 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse without permission. He left in her vehicle.
Officers arrived at the scene around 5:15 pm when the victim called to report the crime, and during their visit, the suspect returned. Phoenix Ryan Leonard, 28, was arrested for aggravated burglary, theft, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
