Salina Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident

On May 29, at approximately 4:30 pm, a two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of K-140 Highway and I-135. A 66-year-old Salina woman was injured.

A yellow 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo, driven by Heath Carlson, 47, with passenger Trena Carlson, 45, exited the northbound off-ramp. After making a complete stop and turning west, they did not see an eastbound black Chevy Equinox, resulting in a collision.

Heath and Trena Carlson were unharmed. Kim Fowler, the driver of the Equinox, sustained injuries to her neck and shoulder and was transported by EMS to Salina Regional for treatment.
