In the early hours of May 19th, approximately 2:00 am, Victor Delatorre, 35, was arrested in the parking lot of Salina Regional Health Center (SRHC) after a confrontation with security and police.
Dropped off in the hospital parking lot by individuals in a car, Delatorre was approached by hospital security who were attempting to ensure his well-being. Delatorre refused medical attention. He was lying on the grass and appeared intoxicated. When asked to leave by security, he became belligerent and refused.
Police were called, and Delatorre made threats to harm the officer, including comments about killing the officer and the officer's children. Delatorre was arrested for criminal trespassing, criminal threat, and interference, after being medically cleared due to his intoxicated state.
