The Saline County Sheriff's Office responded to the 2500 block of East Old 40 Highway for a reported stolen vehicle. On April 14th, a 1999 gold GMC Yukon experienced mechanical issues and was parked on the side of the road with a flat tire. The keys were left in the ignition, and it had a full tank of gas.
The owner left to do work in the area and returned the next morning, April 15th, at 8:30 am, only to find the Yukon missing. The vehicle, with a Kansas tag of 662SAS and featuring a deer decal on the back window and a missing front grill, is valued at $3000.
The community is urged to be on the lookout for the missing vehicle.
