Saline County Commissioners Table Decision on Lawn Mowing Services Bid

During the April 2, 2024 County Commission meeting, a request for action was made to award the bid for lawn mowing services. Four bids were received, with ARD Mowing submitting the lowest bid. However, commissioners voted unanimously to table the item until the next meeting. The bids ranged from $11,455 to $19,285 for the years 2024 and 2025. The County and City would each be responsible for the cost of services at their respective locations. The Salina Police Department reviewed and agreed with the County’s evaluation and recommendation. Costs for lawn mowing services would be covered by the Facility Planning & Maintenance Department budget.
