A traffic accident at the intersection of the Interstate 135 southbound ramp and Schilling Road resulted in one person being transported to the hospital Monday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:44 p.m. on November 4 when a 2014 Honda Accord, driven by Tashayla R. Francois, 30, of Salina, pulled out from the stop sign at the I-135 southbound exit ramp and was struck by a westbound 2014 Buick Encore on Schilling Road.
The Buick was driven by Susana Y. Torres, 33, also of Salina.
Francois sustained suspected minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment.
Torres was not injured and did not require medical attention.
