UPDATE: Driver Dies From Injuries Sustained In December 20 Accident

Saline County Sheriff, Roger Soldan, released today that Richard Wilson died on Sunday, December 26, as a result of injuries he sustained in the accident on December 20 on Granville Rd.

ORIGINAL: Saline County Deputies and EMS responded to an injury accident at 5:30 pm on Monday, December 20, in the 800 block of Granville Rd.

It's reported that a red, 2010 Toyota Rav 4 was westbound on Granville, from Ohio. About 1,800 feet west of the intersection, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Toyota left the roadway on the south side and rolled numerous times.

Inside the vehicle was a 46-year-old Salina man, who was driving and reported to not be buckled up at the time of the crash. He was ejected and transported to SRHC for significant injuries.

Also occupying the vehicle was a 44-year-old female passenger, who refused treatment for lacerations caused by the wreck. The woman was buckled up at the time of the crash.
