Shannon's Stars Twirling Club Embarks on Once-in-a-Lifetime Journey to Liverpool
Shannon's Stars Twirling Club is on their way to world competition in Liverpool, England, scheduled for August. This exceptional opportunity comes as a result of their outstanding performance in the Notre Dame National Competition in July 2022, where they received a prestigious invitation to compete on the global stage.
A team of 14 talented students from Shannon's Stars will proudly represent the USA at the world competition, forming a vital part of Team USA. Just like in the Olympics, these young twirlers have undergone rigorous training to excel in their specific events and compete seamlessly as a cohesive team.
Shannon's Stars holds a distinguished position as one of six teams constituting Team USA, vying for victory in the 1-baton, 2-baton, and 3-baton categories during the world competition. Moreover, twirler Callon Hall will stand tall as an individual representative for the USA after achieving an impressive second-place finish in the national 3-baton competition.
On Tuesday, friends and family sent these awesome twirlers off, but not before watching the routines the baton students will perform at world competition over the next two weeks.
